Dressage Lessons in Spokane
Dressage Lessons in Spokane with Karen O'Neal.
Karen began riding and competing horses in Dressage at age 10 in CA. She had the opportunity to train and compete at the National Level up to Prix St. George. Karen has trained with some of the best instructors in the country including, Olympic Medalist Kathleen Raines, Sandra Clark, Brian Sabo, and Steffan Peters to name a few.
Karen has trained her current personal horses in Dressage to 4th Level and has competed many client horses throughout her career. She believes that Dressage is the basis for all horse training and riding, as well as correct position to communicate with your horse more effectively.
Karen continues to learn by participating in clinics throughout the country whenever she is able to. Karen's daughter, Patience O'Neal, is currently on the USEA 18 Training List, which is a list of 10 riders under 18 years of age, selected throughout the country, to Train with Olympic Coach David O'Conner in hopes of making the US Olympic Team for Eventing.
